Abercrombie River National Park Camp SitesThe main access to the park is via the Arkstone Road. Turn onto the Arkstone Road from the Oberon-Goulburn Road, 7km south of Black Springs. 4WD, all weather accessThe Beach (5 sites)This campground is in a secluded spot beside the Abercrombie River. You'll need to bring drinking water and firewood. Getting there: This campground is on Abercrombie River Fire Trail, via Arkstone Road. Facilities: non-flush toilets Contact: Oberon, Phone: 02 6336 1972 The Sink (5 sites)This campground offers fishing, swimming (depending on water level) and bushwalking. You'll need to bring drinking water and firewood. This campground is beside the Retreat River. Getting there: This campground is on Retreat Fire Trail, via Arkstone Road. Facilities: non-flush toilets Contact: Oberon, Phone: 02 6336 1972 Silent Creek camping ground (10 sites)This campground is good for large groups. You'll need to bring drinking water and firewood. Silent Creek is often dry. Getting there: There are two routes to this campground: Abercrombie Fire Trail via Arkstone Road; or Middle Fire Trail via Brass Walls. Facilities: non-flush toilets Contact: Oberon, Phone: 02 6336 1972 Bummaroo Ford camping ground (15 sites)You can go swimming, fishing and canoeing at this campground (depending on water level). You'll need to bring drinking water. Getting there: This campground is on the Abercrombie Road, where the road crosses the Abercrombie River.
