Bournda National Park Camp Sites

From Merimbula, head north along the Sapphire Coast Drive. Turn right after 15 kilometres onto Bournda Island Road to get to Hobart Beach campground and Bournda Lagoon area.

Hobart Beach campground (63 sites)

You’ll find secluded campsites, accessible showers and a large, cement-floored picnic shelter here. The camping ground is a short drive from the lake.

This campground is next to several short walks, beaches, the lake and fishing spots.

Getting there: This campground is along Bournda Road - off Sapphire Coast Drive, 14km north of Merimbula.

Facilities: picnic tables, wood barbecues, gas/electric barbecues, flush toilets, hot showers, amenities block, drinking water

Bookings: Bookings are essential during Christmas and Easter school holidays. Easter bookings open at 12am on 1 February and Christmas bookings open at 12am on 1 August each year. You can apply for bookings by mail, fax or email.
