Munmorah State Conservation Area Camp SitesLocated 115 km north-east of Sydney, 41 km north of Gosford via Elizabeth Bay Drive off the Pacific Highway.Freemans camping ground (36 sites)Wheelchair access: easy A few minutes walk from Birdie Beach, this campground offers a peaceful atmosphere with basic facilities. There is limited access for caravans. You can stay for a maximum of two weeks. Getting there: Drive to the campground on Birdie Beach Drive. Facilities: picnic tables, gas/electric barbecues, flush toilets, cold showers, drinking water Bookings: Bookings are recommended for weekends and school holidays. They can be made up to 3 months in advance. It has quick, easy access to Snapper Point, a popular fishing spot. Each of the six sites has room for up to six people. You can stay for a maximum of two weeks. Getting there: The campground is on Frazer Beach Road (off Campbell Drive). Facilities: picnic tables, gas/electric barbecues, flush toilets, cold showers Water supply: Bore water is available, but campers should bring their own drinking water Bookings: The campground is very popular and bookings are essential. Bookings can be made up to three months in advance. Bookings for the Christmas School Holidays through to Australia Day long weekend are taken from 9:00am on the third Monday in September.
