Torrington State Conservation Area Camp Sites

Torrington State Conservation Area is a one hour drive from Glen Innes and Tenterfield, and two hours from Inverell, on mostly-sealed roads.

Blatherarm camping and picnic area (15 sites)

Next to Blather Creek, this campground is popular for fossicking topaz and for nature walks.

Getting there: This campground is on Blatherarm Road, off Silent Grove Road.

Facilities: picnic tables, wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), non-flush toilets

Bookings: Fees can be paid at the pay station in Blatherarm camping ground.
