Yengo National Park Camp Sites

Yengo National Park is inland from the NSW Central Coast, within easy day-trip distance of Sydney. It stretches 70 km from Wisemans Ferry north to the Hunter Valley. You can reach the park from Wisemans Ferry and St Albans, the Putty Road or George Downes Drive.

Mogo Creek campground (6 sites)

You'll be camping at the top of the Old Great North Road here. There are excellent bushwalks around this historic convict-built road. The campground is also a great base for day tour drives into Macdonald Valley (historic buildings), Wollombi Valley (vineyards) and Koolang Observatory.

Getting there: This campground is on Mogo Creek Road.

Facilities: wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), non-flush toilets

Water supply: Tank water is sometimes available (not suitable for drinking).

Finchley campground (3 sites)

This campsite is on the Yango Track, and offers excellent 4WD day touring drives. It's a short walk from the campground to Finchley Aboriginal Area. You'll need to bring your own firewood and drinking water.

Getting there: Take the Yango Creek Road from Wollombi and Laguna, then Upper Yango Creek Road onto the Finchley Track to get to this campground. Not suitable for large caravans or motorhomes.

Blue Gums large group campground

This is a unique camping area, catering for large groups (up to 100 people) or small vehicle-based bush camping. This area is suitable for 4WD touring, cycling, horseriding and wilderness walks - or just simply relaxing in a remote location.

Getting there: This camping ground is within the Big Yango Precinct and requires access through a locked gate. Contact the park office for more details.

Facilities: wood barbecues, non-flush toilets

Water supply: You'll need to bring your own water.
