Bowling Green Bay National Park Camp Sites

Located 28km south of Townsville, Bowling Green Bay National Park covers 55 300ha of coastal and mountainous country. It has a diversity of habitat types ranging from mangroves at sea level to rainforests on the mountain tops.

Alligator Creek campground is located within Mt Elliot Section of the park. Toilets, showers, barbeques and tables are provided for campers and day visitors. Camping is limited to 16 sites. Sites 1-4 are required to be pre-booked, sites 5-16 are self registration. Holiday periods are extremely popular so book well in advance to avoid disappointment. When you have booked and paid for your campsite, a booking number will be issued. This booking number is needed when you arrive on site and fill out your campsite registration form. The main gate to the campground is closed between 6.30pm and 6.30am daily.
