Great Sandy National Park Camp Site

Located about 155km north of Brisbane, between Noosa Heads and Rainbow Beach

Camper numbers in the upper Noosa River are limited for a low key, quality experience. Campsites must be pre-booked.

Harrys, Fig Tree Point and Campsites 1, 2 and 3 have basic facilities. Campsites 4 to 15, and Neebs and Wandi waterholes provide bush camping with no facilities. Plan your trip so you camp at designated campsites. Campsite tags are available during business hours from all QPWS offices and after hours from QPWS Rainbow Beach and Tewantin (Moorindil Street) offices.

Bring a fuel stove - fires are not permitted in the upper Noosa River

Noosa River sites 1-15, Wandi Waterhole, Neebs Waterhole and Fig Tree campgrounds are not accessible by motor vehicles.

Tranquil, clean waterways, ideal for exploring by canoe, three lakes, beautiful spring wildflower displays and a great range of walking tracks are highlights of this part of Great Sandy National Park.

Camping permits available online. Go to at NPRSR website - Camping permits
