Pyramid campground has 22 sites and basic facilities. Some campsites have wheelchair accessible picnic tables, see table below for descriptions of individual campsites. Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite. Campground features: Situated in the upper level of the gorge, the campground is the starting point for the 2.4 km return Pyramid track that leads down into the gorge. Location: 500m from the park entrance and 2.5km from Mount Emu Plains Road. Access: When dry, the campground can be reached by conventional vehicles as well as trailers, caravans and buses, with care. Number of sites: 22 numbered sites, including 9 e-permit sites (online booking) and 13 self-registration sites. E-permit sites (online booking) Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car, caravans, camper trailers, small and large motorhomes, large groups. Refer to tables above for details. Campsite surface: Dirt. Facilities: Composting toilets, picnic tables. Open fires: Not allowed. Fuel stoves are recommended. Generators: Not allowed.
