Lower Ovens Regional Park Camp Site

From Albury/Wodonga exit the Hume Hwy at the Yarrawonga exit and follow the Murray Valley Highway through Rutherglen. The Lower Ovens Regional Park is located approximately 27km west of Rutherglen on your right-hand side before you cross the Ovens River.

From Wangaratta, turn right onto the Murray Valley Highway off the Yarrawonga Road and take the first left turn immediately after crossing the Ovens River.

From Shepparton or Yarrawonga, follow the Murray Valley Highway towards Albury/Wodonga, drive through Bundalong and take the first turn right after crossing the Ovens River.

Bush camping sites are available at both Parolas and Camerons Bends, as well as upstream along the Ovens and Murray Rivers. Camps must be at least 20 metres from any river, creek or billabong. Camping is not permitted in day visitor areas or on licensed water frontages adjacent to private property, at Williams Bridge boat ramp or near other boat ramps.

Caravan park facilities are located opposite the Parolas Bend entrance. More accommodation is available in Bundalong, Yarrawonga, Rutherglen and Wangaratta.

Fishing licences, ice and food can be purchased in Bundalong.
