Located 758 kms N of Sydney. Heritage, wine and stunning natural wonders, if these sound appealing, then a trip to Tenterfield is a must. The town is surrounded by the hills of the Great Dividing Range and is a pretty place in autumn when its trees turn brilliant gold and vermilion. It's also close to the wineries of the Granite Belt (and has a few of its own), handy to some marvellous national parks and retains many of its heritage buildings.
