Caravan Parks, NSW Just north of Newcastle, Tomago is in a country where fishing and seafood are king. Tomago is next to the extensive Kooragang Nature Reserve which skirts the shores of Fullerton Cove and is a great place for bushwalking, picnicking and barbecuing. Tomago is also just a short, scenic drive from the beautiful aquatic paradise of Port Stephens, increasingly significant as a desirable tourist destination. It is also the perfect base for a day trips into the Hunter Valley where you can see vineyards and wineries, horse studs and upmarket eateries. The delightful city of Newcastle, NSW's second largest city, is just a 30-minutes or so drive to the south-east.
