Minnipa
is at the centre of a number of extraordinary granite hill formations first
observed by indefatigable South Australian explorer Edward John Eyre in 1839.
Fifteen klm north of Minippa township is the Pildappa Rock whose incredible
flowing forms .
The Minnipa Agricultural Centre, was commissioned some years ago to investigate
and trial sustainable dry land agricultural and farming methods and alternative
crop and pasture species.
