Quorn is one of Australia’s most historic railway towns. At one time
trains from the north, south, east and west all stopped at Quorn and for many
years it was the southern terminal for the famous Ghan rail journey to Alice
Springs.
The Pichi Richi Railway has been operating a historic steam trains from Quorn
in the Flinders Ranges since 1974. The line provides a old fashioned steam
train service from Port Augusta to Quorn and return
