This park, sitting high on an isolated forest plateau, has a great variety of ecosystems. It protects populations of threatened species, including the Hastings River mouse, rufous scrub-bird and spotted-tailed quoll. Visitors can enjoy good views across the Macleay River Valley and the rugged ranges of the eastern escarpment
