Conimbla
National Park
Located 9km west of Cowra covering 7 590 ha this park is a forest surrounded
by farming lands. The park has some excellent walking tracks with great views
and birdwatching while in the spring there are stunning wildflower displays
to be enjoyed.
Hill
End Historic Site
Hill End is the first site in Australia to return payable gold and the scene
of the earliest reef mining. Perched on the edge of a high plateau in the
Central tablelands the village remains largely untouched by modern development.
Camping is available at
Glendora, the Village or the Trough and guided tours may be arranged from
the Visitor Centre.

Nangar
National Park
Situated in the Nangar-Murga range West of Orange the park is an important
wildlife refuge with its forests and scrubs lying in an area which has been

Weddin
Mountains National Park
A favorite haunt of the bushrangers of the past this park has a landscape
of rugged cliffs and wild country surrounded by farming land. There some great
