Adaminaby,

A new Adaminaby village that was built in 1957 after the previous town was
flooded in the creation of Lake Eucumbene.
The nearby lake is 140 sq klm is popular for water sports. The town is very
busy in the snow season with many types of acommodation available. St John’s
Anglican Church and the Uniting Church were moved stone by stone from the
old village and rebuilt. The old village was reduced to a marina and caravan
park on the lake shore.
