Most regular visitors set up in the local caravan park which enjoys 1.5 klm
of absolute beach frontage and has access to the surf, a tidal lagoon and
rock pools. Located 526 Klms north of Sydney.
Apart from surfing, swimming and snorkelling, Brooms Head presides over hot
fishing spots where you can catch bream, whiting, tailor and jewfish from
the rocks or beach. Deep-sea anglers can launch their craft from the main
beach of the Sandon River ramp which adjoins a camping ground. The main beach
is shaded by Norfolk Pines and Lake Cakora presents safe swimming for children
