The only Japanese war cemetery in Australia is outside the town. The Lachlan River lined with willows flows by the end of the towns main street.

get to Cowra, from Sydney, travel over the Blue Mountains via Lithgow
and Bathurst. A must see attration is the tranquil Japanese Gardens.

abattoir, farm machinery distributors and furniture manufacturers.
