Iluka is located in the North Coast region of NSW. Iluka lies on the opposite bank of the Clarence River and just a ferry trip from Yamba, largest town in the Maclean Shire on the NSW north coast. Iluka is renowned for its fishing and unspoiled beaches perfect for bathing, surfing or simply strolling along the sand.
On the town’s doorstep is a World Heritage-listed rainforest and visitors have a choice of some of the finest picnic areas in the region. You can join a scenic trail through the reserve near the Sedgers Reef Hotel. The 2.5km track runs through the reserve and on to Iluka Bluff. One of the more popular areas is at Woody Head in Bundjalung National Park.
