Moss
Vale, NSW
A market town with a wide main street with an avenue of elms. Named
after herdsman Jemmy Moss, whose employer, Charles Throsby, pioneered the
area and explored south along the coast and inland. An inn has stood on the
site of Hotel Moss Vale since 1866.
