Muswellbrook
is a tourist's town on the New England Highway. Muswellbrook is a horse-lover's
district. Matt Peel’s Quarter Horse Stud and Rural Museum is just out
of town, while you can hop aboard a horse-drawn carriage to take in the sights
of historical Denman 25km to the west. And, of course, no self-respecting
Hunter Valley town would be complete without its cluster of vineyards. Most
of the local vineyards are open daily for tastings and sales. Nearby Wollemi
National Park has its loyal band of devoted bush-walkers
