Elliott, NT
Situated about 250 km north of Tennant Creek, Elliott is the halfway point between Darwin and Alice Springs. With a population of 600 residents Elliott is the main administrative centre of the desert region.
Today, the town is still divided into North Camp and South Camp areas (due
to WWII influence where Elliott was an army base)
Tiny highway settlement. Lake Woods, to the south, can be more than 40km long when flooded.
