About 32km north of Gladstone, Mount Larcom relies mainly on fruit and tomato
farming. Mt Larcom is the only stop between Rockhampton and Gladstone for
travellers aboard Queensland Rail's Tilt Train which links Brisbane and Rockhampton.
Road travellers are encouraged to stop and enjoy the scenery as the Bruce
Highway winds its way through the mountain and scrub landscape on the journey
from north from Gladstone to Mt Larcom.
