About
410km north-west of Brisbane, Mundubbera has two main claims to fame - it
is a huge citrus growing region, and it’s close to the Burnett River.
There is alao a 9m tall Big Mandarin which doubles as the local Information
Centre.
The region is also a significant producer of prime beef, pork, timber, milk
and a wide range of fruits including mangoes, lychees, peaches, water melons
and rock melons. The Jones Weir, within walking distance of the town, is a
popular venue for waterskiing, fishing canoeing and birdwatching
