Tully
Located
106 klm north of Ingham (222 klm north of Townsville), situated on the famous
Tully river. Tully is up in Far North Queensland, and its claim to fame is
that it is the wettest place in Australia, for which it receives the annual
Golden Gumboot award. In the shadow of Mount Tyson, this town gets a massive
4400 mm of rain each year.
