Innamincka, SA

Innamincka is located in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. The area has beautiful port towns such as Kingston, Robe and Beachport. Explore the impressive caves at Naracoorte Caves and mountain lakes, such as the Blue Lake at Mount Gambier. The region has over 13,000 hectares of grape vines and the area contributes 20% of Australia's premium wine production.  Remote hamlet on the Strzelecki Track and best known as the scene for the final act of the Burke and Wills tragedy in 1861. A cairn near Innamincka homestead stands where Burke died, and several kilometers away is the site of Wills memorial.
