Quaint little village and a crossing over the Hordan River since the earliest expeditions from Hobart. The main street swoops down to the river and a six arch sandstone bridge, whose piers and abutments are part of an 1842 structure. A charming row of cottages next to the bridge is the 1826 barracks, also known as The Row.
