Eildon,
Victoria
Perched on timbered slopes at the southern end of the lake and overlooking Pondage Lakes, the township was established in the 1950s for workers during construction of Eildon Dam. Mt Pinninger, at the eastern end of the dam wall, gives a view of the weir and its installations. The lake has a 500km shoreline with numerous reaches.
