Progressive town in the Goulburn Valley, serving an extensive irrigation district, which concentrates on dairying, fruit, vegetables, tomatoes, sheep and a cannery. A fauna and waterfowl park is Victoria’s only community owned wildlife centre. The historical society has resored the 1867 cottage that lies within the park. The Kyabram annual show is held in October.
