Victoria
Victoria ’s most extensively developed snow resort is also the largest in Australia. There is a score of ski lifts and runs vary from hair raising courses for experts to wide open spaces for beginners. The village is set among the runs and at 1580m is 300m below the mountain summit. The approach to the village is particularly picturesque, the steep road winding between tall mountain ash. There is a ski festival held in Mt Buller in September.
