Carnarvon, WA

Main centre of the North West. On the Brown Range, behind the town, are an Overseas Telecommunications Commission station and a former NASA communications base.

Carnarvon is situated approximately 904km north of Perth west Australia. Carnarvon is recognised for its banana plantations, tropical fruits, seafood and warm climate. It is located in the heart of the Gascoyne Region on the Indian Ocean.
