Popular resort at the mouth of Peel Inlet. The inlet, Harvey Estuary and three rivers provide 150km of inland shoreline and there are 40km of beaches. The State open fishing tournament is held off Preston Beach, 50km south of Mandurah, every February. Mandurah’s Kanyana Festival takes place from mid January to the Australia Day weekend.

of Western Australia. The City of Mandurah's is bordered by the Indian
Ocean to the west and its main feature is the waterways known for their
good fishing, crabbing and prawning.
